“Festival Clímax – Vamos Direto ao Ponto?” (“Climax Festival – Let’s go straight to the point!” in Portuguese) was a Climate festival held in Sao Paulo, Brazil in parallel to the UN Climate negotiations in Qatar (COP-18).
From December 5-9, 2012, Change Mob and 350.org in collaboration with a series of partners held this festival with movie screenings, public debates and workshops, each day a theme was center-stage of all activities and covered issues such as food security, gender, consumption, activism, and local solutions.
The aim was to bring Brazilian population close to the discussions around global warming and demonstrate the impact climate change is already having in our daily lives.
